We had a fantastic evening at this past weekend’s Lamma Cinema Society film screening of “Last Days at Sea”! We were overbooked, but everyone managed to squeeze in to enjoy Venice Atienza’s documentary following 12-year-old Reyboy on his remote island home in the Philippines - a stark reminder of childhood’s purity and life’s simplicity when you removed the trappings of materialism.

Nine River Films is a Hong Kong film development and production company founded in 2018 by Rebecca Jiang (Rebecca Jiang Durston). Past projects include topics of social documentary, social drama as well as experimental fiction drama and suspense crime.

We are passionate about meeting like-minded people to explore creative and business opportunities in Hong Kong, China as well as in Europe and the United States.
